The Impression of the Collector

Collecting is at the basis of modern museums, in fact, most European Museums are born out of great private or public collections whose origin can be found in renaissance chambers of wonders.

The museum of Rimini, of very recent origin (1972), originated from the collections of Delfino Dinz Rialto, of the Franciscan Friars of the Sanctuary of Saint Mary of Graces at Covignano, Rimini, of Ugo Canepa of Biella and of Bruno Fusconi of Cesena.

These collections, mostly put together last century, reflect the personal “impression”of the individual collector and his cultural and thematic preferences.
