Rimini museums

During the 18^th century, the modest local paintings were set against the good quality of “foreign” works from Venice, Rome and mainly Bologna. These works were either imported by old and new religious orders, or executed on the spot, as the beautiful frescos that Vittorio Maria Bigari made inside San Agostino (1722), of which the MuseUm preserves conspicuous fragments.
